Instagram Lately

I’ve said before on here that one of the parts of blogging I struggle with most is posting regularly on my Instagram. Sometimes I’ll do really well and post days in a row. Sometimes I’ll go a week or two without posting, or without even hopping on Instagram. I didn’t do great in the month of April, but here are some of the posts you guys enjoyed over the past month!

Last weekend Dave and I had the opportunity to spend time with some friends we haven’t seen in far too long. Part of the weekend was an afternoon spent at a park on the lake.

My hair hardly ever holds a curl, so I felt it was important to document it when it did!

Leia has perfected her stare for when Dave or I are eating and she wants some of our food. If I’m being honest, she usually ends up getting some.

In April was National Siblings Day, so I shared this picture of two of my brothers and I.

Dave doesn’t make it on to the blog very often! But he sure was excited for an impromptu date night.

Every year my family goes together to University of Madison marching band concert. It’s always a great night and I made sure to show my Badger pride!

My bachelorette party was in April! It was absolutely one of the best nights I’ve had, and my bridesmaid definitely spoiled me!

Dave and I took a trip to see my dad a couple of weeks ago for his birthday. Dave helped him out around the house while I was able to curl up with a book next to the wood stove.

Instagram Lately

Despite being one of my favorite social media platforms, Instagram is probably the one I’m worst at. I love scrolling through and looking at other people’s pictures, but I don’t post nearly enough on my own. Honestly, I just forget! I don’t think to do so. Sometimes I’ll wear an awesome outfit to work and then late at night, as I’m lying in bed, think to myself “I really should have Instagrammed that…”.

One of my big blogging goals in March was to post on my Instagram account more. I definitely succeeded. It was the first month I posted more than 10 pictures in the entire month. I did way better than the measly three times I posted in January!

Here are a few of my favorites on my Instagram from the past month.

Dave and I started March of perfectly with breakfast out at one of our favorite local places. They have the best waffles and iced coffee, and obviously don’t skimp on the food.

In February I went to see Kasey Musgraves in concert, and have been pretty much obsessed with her music ever since.

Spring is FINALLY here! I’m pretty sure this was my first day since fall rocking the bare legs at work. Goodbye, tights!

I make my own coffee almost every morning. But Fridays I treat myself and get a venti peppermint mocha. Though I might switch up my order now that the weather’s getting warmer.

This is the dress I wore for our engagement pictures and it’s still one of my favorites!

Dress

Dave was away for a few days on business last month. Pretty much every single time he travels I get sushi, since I’m obsessed and Dave isn’t a big fan. And if you’re wondering, yes, I did eat all of this myself. Okay, Leia may have had one of the dumplings.

Since we are getting SO close to the wedding, Dave and I had some plans to finalize with the venue and rehearsal dinner caterer.

We also had to pick up some rain gear to stay dry in Ireland. I don’t know why I went with white, since it will obviously get dirty immediately. But I’m obsessed! I’m also refraining from wearing them until Ireland so I can keep them looking clean at least until we get there!

Mother Nature delivered an unfortunate surprise and dropped a ton of snow on us after we thought it was gone for good! Luckily, it didn’t stick around long.
